Shakhtar preparing for Volyn

Having had a day off after the game against Vorskla, on September 20 the Pitmen began to prepare for the Premier League round 9 game against Volyn
In the morning, the team went to Sviatoshyn base. The players who participated in the encounter with Poltava, had a light recovery session in the fitness centre. The rest had an intense two-hour session on the pitch under the guidance of Paulo Fonseca.
Still, the injured Darijo Srna, Vyacheslav Shevchuk, Marcio Azevedo and Anton Kanibolotskyi train individually. Mykyta Shevchenko has not exercised today as well. The goalkeeper flew to Barcelona together with the Shakhtar medical department head Artur Glushchenko. Shevchenko will undergo a meniscus surgery.
Let us remind you that the Shakhtar vs Volyn game will be held on 24 September at the Arena Lviv. It kicks off at 17:00.
