Shakhtar extended contract with Butko

FC Shakhtar has extended the deal with defender Bohdan Butko. The new agreement will be effective for five years
Butko is the club graduate. He has been with Shakhtar since September 2004 (spells). For the moment, Bohdan has made five appearances. He debuted for the first team on August 28, 2016 in the match against Kamyanske-based Stal (1-0).
- This is a very significant event for me, - said Bohdan after signing the contract. – I can say that I have been going towards it all my life. Since my childhood, since the time when I watched Shakhtar games on TV, I have been dreaming of playing for the Donetsk team. And now my dream has come true. The signing of the new deal is certainly a big step forward in my career. Hopefully, I will live up to the expectations and be quite helpful to the home club.
