The game against SC Braga (POR) is Bernard’s 100th appearance for Shakhtar
The Brazilian’s debut with the Donetsk team took place on August 31, 2013 in the encounter with Metalist. Since then, Bernard has appeared in 58 Ukrainian League games, 11 Ukrainian Cup games, two Super Cup ties and 29 matches in European competitions.
Shakhtar’s number 10 boasts 13 goals, the midfielder scored his first goal with Shakhtar on October 26, 2013 in the match vs Zorya Luhansk.
