The Pitmen's number 8 reflects on the upcoming match against Dynamo
– The Super Cup game ended with the score 1-1, and you lost in the penalty shoot-out. What do the matches against Dynamo mean for you? Will you make tactical changes ahead of the League game?
– I think Shakhtar needs to stick to the same style that we have shown in recent matches. Six Premier League rounds - six wins. We show ourselves well. I don't think there is a need to recall our Super Cup game. We are setting our minds on the upcoming one with fresh strength and great motivation.
– After the match, Serhii Rebrov called you Shakhtar's key player. Who would you say is the key player in Dynamo?
– Of course, it is flattering to receive such a comment about yourself, but I personally cannot choose a key player of the opponents. We need to think more about our team and our own game. The most important thing right now is to beat Dynamo and increase the lead by another three points. And the main goal is to win the Ukrainian Premier League.
– Before training, you had a warm welcome for Bernard. How is he?
– He is fine. He recovered rather quickly. I think he is completely ready for the next match. Another strong player is a plus for Shakhtar. Being united, we can achieve great victories.
– Have you had time to tell Taison something warm about his debut for the national team?
– No, I have not had the opportunity to congratulate him yet. Honestly, I did not even watch this match, because it was very late by the Ukrainian time. But when he comes, we will congratulate his with the whole team. I hope Taison will return as soon as possible and help Shakhtar" in the upcoming matches.
