Shakhtar midfielder speaks about the upcoming derby vs Olimpik
- Olimpik are the only team to have managed to nick points off the Pitmen this season. Do the opponents have a secret?
- I think there are no particular secrets. Olimpik just operated very competently and coherently in defensive terms. Meanwhile, it’s very important for us to focus on converting our chances – this will determine the outcome of the upcoming meeting.
- Alan, what kind of game are you expecting?
- We are facing another tough match. Olimpik, just like most teams playing against us, will count on the counterattacking success. It’s not easy to play against such opponents. In the last meeting, Chornomorets created only two chances in 90 minutes and eventually won. But that’s football, we must move towards our goal from match to match, which is winning the Premier League title. - I feel great. I always try to give my all in training, also doing my best to help Shakhtar win the games. Of course, I want to take to the pitch as often as possible, I want to become the first team regular. Every day I work on that and wait for my chance.
