On April 14, in Lloret de Mar (Catalonia, Spain), Shakhtar teams held matches of the first playoff round in the International Mediterranean Cup 2017
Both Donetsk outfits stopped participating in the tournament after penalty shootouts.
Serhii Shyschenko’s boys were the first to play against Figueres, Catalonia. The Orange-and-Blacks were losing in the course of the meeting, but finally managed to equalise. In the post-match ‘lottery’, the opponents were luckier.
