Shakhtar extended contract with Rakits’kyy

On April 28, Shakhtar football club signed a contract with the defender Yaroslav Rakits’kyy. The new deal is effective for five years
- I'm happy to continue defending the colours of my home club. I'm proud to play in Shakhtar shirt – that’s my life, - said Yaroslav. - My heart has always been orange-and-black. I said before and want to repeat now: I want to finish my football career at Shakhtar.
Yaroslav Rakits’kyy is a graduate of Shakhtar Academy. He debuted for the senior team in August 2009. Aggregately, he made 272 competitive appearances in Shakhtar shirt, scoring 12 goals. This season, the 26-year-old defender has made 27 apps. Together with Shakhtar, Yaroslav won 14 trophies.
