Shakhtar vs Chornomorets: Pitmen’s opinions

- We need to congratulate the Odesa side on the victory. In each round, we create opportunities, but do not convert many of them. The opponents registered two goals and achieved success. This is the law of football: if you do not score, then you concede. It is our own fault in this situation. There were many real chances, which we did not realize, and this is the only big problem of ours for today. However, we lose and win only together. We must analyse the match and move forward, because everything is in our hands. Today, we have been not aggressive enough inside the opponents’ penalty box; moreover, luck was not on our side. There is nothing to say: we should take into consideration this meeting and head into the next game being even stronger and confident that we need to win.

- It's always painful when you lose. We produced a good performance in the first half, we set up many moments of danger, but managed to score only one goal. The opponents responded with a leveller, dropped back in defence, operated aggressively and produced a good defensive performance. In their turn, Shakhtar gave their all in the game and tried to carve open the defence by any means. However, this is football, sometimes it so happens. We held a good match against a strong team. We still have many encounters ahead of us, so we must lift up our heads and do our best so that to see the ball inside opponents’ net in future. Today, luck has been not on our side, but we will work harder to get it back in the meetings to come.
