Sharan: One of the best games against Shakhtar

- First of all, I want to thank our fans for their support – we felt how they worried about us. I also want to say thank you to the players for their dedication, play discipline and the desire not to lose to the Donetsk team. We encountered a more masterful team. Shakhtar players are of a completely different class which they’ve displayed today when scoring both goals against us. This is one of the best games against Shakhtar, if not the best one. Until the very end we wwere trying to equalise, and there were some prerequisites – I would note Banada’s chance. We need to look with optimism into the future. We’ve got very important games against BATE ahead. We understand that in the league our situation is not as good as we’d like it to be, and there are reasons for that. However, the most important thing is that we see the team progress confidently. My congratulations to Shakhtar on outclassing us, and I wish them every success in the Champions League.
