Shakhtar kicked off their preparation for the return match versus Celta
Upon returning from Vigo, the coaching staff gave the team a day off, and as early as today the Pitmen got together again to keep on gearing up for the Europa League Round of 32 second leg against Celta. Following a two-hour practice based on improving tactical exercises, the footballers played out a two-sided game on a third of the pitch to round off the session.
The players to be featured in the clash with the Spaniards trained together with the general group for 60 minutes, before making their way to the fitness centre. Viacheslav Tankovskyi, Facundo Ferreyra and Dentinho missed out through injuries.
Before leaving for Kharkiv, Shakhtar will conduct a training session on the field of Bannikov UTK. Tomorrow, the Donetsk side will have a morning session scheduled.
We remind you that the Europa League Round of 32 second leg Shakhtar vs Celta is to be held at the USC Metalist in Kharkiv on February 23.
