Shakhtar vs Vorskla: Pitmen’s opinions

- We’re very happy to win! Vorskla are a strong team, with every meeting with them turning tough. I prepared for the match and hoped to be fielded. At 1-1, I really wanted to enter the game and help to change the outcome in our favour. For me it’s important that the coach has entrusted me with such an opportunity. It was hard not to appear for so long due to injury. I am happy to be back and help Shakhtar! I am grateful to the teammates who have done a lot for this result: the ball just came to me, and I just sent it into the back of the net.

- We always expect difficult games. In the encounter with Vorskla, our performance was affected by the goal we had conceded in the first half. Unfortunately, the field wasn’t in the best condition, which complicated the task, because we love to play a fast passing game and to control the ball. Nevertheless, we believed in winning until the end, and today you can congratulate Shakhtar: our team did not give up and achieved a good result. I am satisfied. Now we need to have a good rest to get back to work and correct the mistakes. Next Sunday, we are facing a difficult meeting with Volyn, we will seriously prepare for it. We should now focus on the Ukrainian league, because we really want to claim the top spot.
