Shakhtar defender has told shakhtar.com of his recovery from the injury, readiness to play and the mask, which he is expected to wear when coming onto the pitch

- Welcome back to the general group! Did you look forward to this moment and have you missed playing football?
- First and foremost, I would like to thank the fans for their words of support: thank you very much. Of course, I was waiting for the mask to arrive to get the green light for training together with the general group. I have never looked forward to holidays as much...

- Could you reveal how recovery from the surgery was running?
- Basically, everything is fine. The only thing I would like is to start playing the sooner the better. Overall, the recovery in terms of such an injury has passed rather quickly and smoothly. Now, I am able to train.

- How well are you prepared physically for the season's restart?
- Over the last ten days, I have been busy with doing running work. I have been trained pretty well. However, it is one thing to run; and it is quite another matter to work with the ball and play. It will take a little while to get used to the mask and continue to rediscover the form.

- Today, you have had your first training session wearing the mask. How did it feel?
- I felt a little bit uncomfortable, at first. But it does not matter, since I need to get used to that, as I'll have to be playing in the mask for another two months.

- What is your take on the pre-season’s preparation? How will the interval, which you missed, affect your form?
- Right, it is going to be hard. On the other hand, it is good that the injury occured at the start of the training camp. There is yet time to pick up the form and to restore the physical fitness.
