FC Shakhtar Donetsk partners with StreamAMG to launch new video platform to broadcast home games live and on-demand
London, January 2017 – FC Shakhtar Donetsk announces today that it has chosen to partner with award-winning online video specialist StreamAMG, to launch its new and improved online video service.
The new platform called FCSD.tv Live will broadcast live and on-demand the home Ukrainian league games of FC Shakhtar Donetsk, as well as all the friendly games of the club. Using the power of StreamAMG’s best-in-class technology, the nine-time Ukrainian Premier League champions are now able to share their home games with fans across the world, excluding those based in Ukraine. The club’s passionate supporters will be able to get closer to their team than ever before, with live, on-demand and extra-bonus video content including interviews, press conferences and more all available to users. The new service can be accessed at https://live.shakhtar.com or directly on the club’s website.
The initial three-year contract represents a major European deal for StreamAMG, who already work with many of the United Kingdom’s leading football clubs, as well as with other leagues and teams in different sports across Europe.
The Ukrainian Premier League sees FC Shakhtar Donetsk go up against teams such as FC Dynamo Kyiv and FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, in a 32 games season that decides who will be the champions of Ukraine.
The website will offer two service options, after a 7-day free trial period: Monthly and Annual. Both passes cover all live games for the chosen period, in accordance with the calendar of the platform. On-demand games are also available, as well as videos and exclusive content. The service is available and compatible with all main devices and can be watched through any major platform.
Speaking about the deal, FC Shakhtar Donetsk Commercial Director Dmitriy Kirilenko pointed out: “FC Shakhtar fanbase outside Ukraine is represented by about one and a half million people across well beyond 60 countries all over the world. We are confident that there is a great demand for watching live broadcasts of Shakhtar games, also being hopeful that the cooperation with StreamAMG will allow to meet this demand with focus on quality.”
