The Donetsk side footballers reflect on the sparring with Austria

Viacheslav Tankovskyi, Shakhtar midfielder:

- The match turned out to be complicated. When I came onto the pitch in the second half, the score was not in our favour; therefore, it was necessary to create goal-scoring chances near Austria’s goal. We tried hard not to lose, but it had been bad luck for us. I think, Shakhtar dominated the game, and even after levelling the score-line, we had good chances to snatch a victory. Overall, I am happy to score a goal appeared to be crucial for our team.
We have faced tough opponents that hold the fourth spot in the Austrian Bundesliga. Being under a little workload, both of our teams played in each half, thus, every player got game practice

Sergii Kryvtsov, Shakhtar defender:

- We have faced tough opponents that hold the fourth spot in the Austrian Bundesliga. Being under a little workload, both of our teams played in each half, thus, every player got game practice. The physical state allows playing more, but at this point, coaches would like to see players’ interaction in different combinations. As soon as they start to build-up the starting line-up for the clash against Celta, those lads will spend on the field more than 45 minutes. We train in two-sessions-a-day mode, and we conducted a morning session before the match. So, we are picking up the form and well along toward the top shape.
