Shakhtar start their Atlantic Cup campaign

On 31 January in Algarve, the Pitmen will open the tournament with a duel against Jablonec from the Czech Republic
The meeting is be held at the Bela Vista municipal stadium. It kicks off at 18:00 Kyiv time (EET). On the same day, another Group A match between Örebro SK, Sweden and Aalborg BK, Denmark will take place.
According to the competition regulations, at the first stage of the tournament each participant will have two games. In case of a draw, the teams will have a penalty shoot-out. The second round in Group A is scheduled for February 3rd. Shakhtar will meet with Aalborg at 18:00.
The Group B includes Rijeka of Croatia, Aarhus of Denmark; Djurgarden of Sweden and Debrecen, Hungary.
The finals will take place on 6 and 7 February at the stadium of Algarve. Initially, the winners of the third and fourth spots will be decided. The following day, the runners-up and the top-spot sides will be playing.
