We bring you another selection of goals netted by the Pitmen last year
Extremely exciting was the game between the Donetsk side and Karpaty, in August 2016. With the Orange-and-Blacks being 0-2 down in the first half, they pulled themselves together after the interval to ensure a resolute comeback. Besides, three goals by Taras Stepanenko, Viktor Kovalenko and Marlos turned out to be exceptionally beautiful.
Facundo Ferreyra goals sealed very important points for the team in the fixtures against Stal and Konyaspor. At the closing stages of either game, the Argentinian scored with a header. Dentinho also notched a goal with a header to level the scoreline against Dynamo. We should also note a debut goal by Ivan Ordets for Shakhtar in the clash versus Dnipro.
On September 24, the 20-years-old striker Andrii Boriachuk made his first competitive appearance in the Premier League. The young forward marked his debut with a formidable effort against Volyn, collecting a low cross by Bernard and finding the net with his backheel.
