In the last five games of the past calendar year, Shakhtar players had scored 16 goals
The season's final clash against Dynamo at the snow-covered Olympiiskyi in 2016 will be also remembered by the fans. Fred and Facundo Ferreyra netted beautiful goals to secure a 4-3 victory in favour of Paulo Fonseca’s men. By the way, the Argentinian – with 11 goals under his belt – secured the team’s top scorer award in the opening part of the season.
Recalling last year, we should pay tribute to Sergii Kryvtsov’s debut goals in European competitions against Braga and a brace by Viktor Kovalenko in the meeting with Dnipro, as well as Taison’s finish in the fixture against Stal, with the ball flying in an incredible path before dropping into the far corner.
