Shakhtar goalkeeper shared his impression of the holiday
– Anton, we wish you happy holidays! How’s your vacation been going?
– Everything’s fine. I went to Dubai with my family, gained strength and had some new experiences before the season’s closing part. I saw in the New Year in Kyiv, in the company of my relatives and close friends. The mood is excellent. These recent days, the weather has been pleasing us with snow and frost. I’ve finally experienced real winter!

– What teammates do you keep in touch with? Andriy Pyatov said in his interview that you exercised together.
– Yes that’s true. We meet up, train, play football, because we need to rediscover form. We’ve got not that much time left before leaving for the training camp, so I try to keep fit. It’s cold outdoors, so we exercise indoors. Honestly, I already want to get back to the habitual living pace, with training sessions, matches, to see my teammates. I think everyone misses one another.

– What would you like to achieve in 2017?
– Primarily, to extend our successful Ukrainian League performance, to claim the long-awaited league title. Of course, Shakhtar is a club that should win every competition. We must try to advance as far as possible in the Europa League and to raise the domestic Cup. As always, we set only top objectives.
