- The match was difficult. Bochum have the qualified team, however Shakhtar displayed a good performance. We had control of the ball and managed to score twice. Everyone showed their best side. After a short vacation, we carry out an excellent preparation, training hard and trying to rediscover our top form in order to continue making our fans happy. I am delighted that I’ve managed to score a goal. Goals are always important. It was a right-footer, so the season promises to be as successful at the past one. I'm sure we’ve got a great year ahead, perhaps even better than the previous one. Currently we have all the conditions for preparation, we’ve just got to give our all.

Bochum proved themselves to be the worthy opponents who know how to fight, to put pressure, without dropping deep in their half of the field, they like open football. Speaking about the training camp in general, in the early days we focused on fitness, running a lot, in general, we were improving our physical form. We currently play friendlies along with undergoing some workloads, therefore we feel fatigued. But that's okay, everyone understands why we actually need it.
