Today, July 8, Ivan Ordets marks his birthday. The player of Shakhtar and Ukraine national team turns 25
Ivan was enrolled in the Shakhtar Academy in 2002 and joined the group of the renowned children's coach Pyotr Ponomarenko. After graduation from the youth football school and a loan spell at Illichivets, in the summer of 2014 Ordets returned to Shakhtar and gradually gained a place among the starting XI of his home team and of the national team.
The past season proved special for the defender: Ivan Ordets made 31 apps for the Orange-and-Blacks, scoring 4 goals and claiming his first trophy with the Miners.
