On June 17, the champions of Ukraine conducted a training session at the Sviatoshyn base
A ninety-minute session began with a warm-up, with added strength-building exercises. Then the players were divided into groups: some of them practised putting pressure within a limited space under the guidance of Paulo Fonseca, the others worked on the play exercises together with Nuno Campus. In the end, the Donetsk team played a small-sided game across one third of the pitch.
The team’s top scorer 2016/17 Facundo Ferreyra already joined in the preparation process. Shakhtar have another training session scheduled for tomorrow.
