Shakhtar goalkeeper leaves the club after a five-year spell

Anton Kanibolotskyi became a player of Shakhtar in July 2012 and made his debut vs Metalurh Zaporizhya on November 3. In his first season, Anton made 10 appearances and 4 mistakes at Shakhtar, becoming the domestic champion and Cup winner for the first time in his career.

Kanibolotskyi started the 2013/14 season with the Ukrainian Super Cup win vs Chornomorets Odesa (3-1). The season was the busiest for the keeper in terms of the number of appearances (16).

In the Champions League, Anton debuted for Shakhtar in the 2015/16 season, appearing against Malmo in Lviv and vs PSG in Paris. Interestingly, Shakhtar won the Ukrainian Super Cup for three years in a row, when the goal was kept by Kanibolotskyi. In total, the goalkeeper boasts 55 appearances in various competitions, three championships and three domestic Cups.

FC Shakhtar thanks Anton Kanibolotskyi for the years he spent in the team. We wish him every success and more victories in football and in his life!
