Shakhtar spent the opening day at the training camp

Upon arrival in Marienfeld, the Donetsk side delegation studied in detail the infrastructure of the Hotel-Residence Klosterpforte facilities, as the coaching staff examined two fields provided to the Miners for training. The team will be preparing here for the upcoming season in two weeks to come.

By the way, there are no days off in the schedule of the Orange-and-Blacks. Shakhtar will train in two-sessions-a-day mode – in the morning and in the evening, with one training scheduled on match days.

On June 26, after lunch and a short rest, the Miners held their first class at the German training camp, which started with a warm-up that included exercises for coordination and spinning classes. Then Paulo Fonseca devoted time to tactics, and a ninety-minute session finished with a mini-tournament in the half of the pitch.

There was no Darijo Srna in the general group. The skipper is expected to return to the ranks tomorrow.
