The Pitmen shared their thoughts after the encounter with Olimpik

Danylo Ihnatenko, Shakhtar U21 midfielder:

- In the recent games, everything we’ve lacked is luck. In every game we open many spaces, scoring on target a lot and creating numerous clear-cut chances. Everything we lacked was just a finish, only one precision shot. Today, even the suspension didn’t affect our performance, with us immediately changing the play and attacking even being short-handed. And when the number of players levelled, we continued to dominate and squeezed the opponents in the end of the game. In the goal-scoring situation, I joined the attacking move and decided to strike from distance following a pass by Zinkevych. It turned out to be a pretty good shot, and I am really happy to have helped the team win. Most importantly, we’ve claimed three points.
The victory and the goal at the end of the match are very important for us psychologically. We have a chance in the title race, and we must approach the remaining games with top concentration
Yevhen Hrytsenko, Shakhtar U21 goalkeeper:

- Today, converting our chances has again become our most challenging objective. With so many scoring chances, we hardly notch one goal... On the one hand, it's good that we create so many opportunities, but, as our coach says, we should win every match easily and with a big score instead of causing such a tough and nervous ending. The victory and the goal at the end of the match are very important for us psychologically. We have a chance in the title race, and we must approach the remaining games with top concentration.
