In Severodonetsk of Luhansk Oblast, FC Shakhtar launched Come on, Let’s Play! project
Any child from 7 to 12 years old who feels like it can play football absolutely free of charge at the sports ground of secondary school number 12. Even now, four groups of 15-20 project participants have been formed in Severodonetsk.
FC Shakhtar provided coaches-volunteers, who completed training program provided by the Academy club’s instructors, and children with the necessary equipment: footballs, pumps, bibs, cones, whistles, etc.
- Come on, Let’s Play! project continues to develop. The project operates in Donetsk, Lviv, Kramatorsk and Kurakhove, with Severodonetsk being the fifth location for us, - says Fan Liason Unit Head Andrii Hladchenko. - We plan to expand in the future. Before long, we are going to launch the project in Kharkiv, where our first team will hold home games, with the children proceeding to train immediately on several pitches of the city.
We will add that yet early in summer the first contest among the participants of the Come on, Let’s Play! project is to be held in Severodonetsk.
