Shakhtar fans selected the best player of the past month
The winner in April is Shakhtar midfielder Taison. 288 poll participants voted for him. The number 28 notched up three goals in six matches of the month. The Brazilian’s effective shots allowed the Orange-and-Blacks to mark the victory in the meeting vs Zorya (2-1) and reach the Ukrainian Cup final after the success vs Dnipro (1-0).
Andriy Pyatov was very close to claiming a kind of ‘hat trick’. The Player of the Month for February and March got 256 votes and claimed the second spot. By the way, the match vs Oleksandriia (1-0) has been the Donetsk keeper’s 250th league appearance.
