On May 13, at the base of FC Shakhtar Academy in Schaslyve, the first match day of the finals Come On! Let’s play! finished

Following an opening ceremony of the competition, the participants held all group stage encounters to decide winners.

In the U10 age category, Sportresurs (Lviv) took the first spot, having gained 9 points, total possible. Strela (Kramatorsk) finished second with 6 points. Donbas (Donetsk) took the third position, as Pobeda (Kurakhove) stayed at the bottom of the group table.

- The boys are very happy that they managed to win all group stage matches, without conceding a single goal, - Sportresurs coach Pavel Tolstoi shared his impressions. - We have a special team: the boys attend absolutely all training sessions, try to adopt what we learn them, and this is crucial. And for us, mentors, Come On, Let’s Play! project is an invaluable experience that allows to realize ourself.

- We were a little bit unlucky, - confessed Donbas footballer Mykyta Volodko. - We claimed a win in the first match, but lost two encounters after that. Maybe, through fatigue. Of course, it's a shame. However, the tournament itself is nice, we really liked it. Tomorrow, we get into the mood for success only!

On Sunday, May 14Sportresurs and Strela are going to decide a winner, with Donbas and Pobeda playing a third-place decider.

In the U12 category, Kvadrat finished topped the group. The Lviv side claimed three wins and 9 points. Kramatorsk-based Black Star took the second position with 6 points under the belt. Adrenalin, another side from this city, are second bottom, as Severodonetsk-based quartet Proryv appeared at the bottom.

- Excellent tournament! - said Black Star coach Vitalii Gorodnii at the end of the group stage. - It's great that there is a final stage where teams from different cities can decide who are stronger. In general, the impressions are wonderful. In the final, we will try to take revenge on Kvadrat and lift the cup.

- It was difficult, but interesting, - commented Zakhar Levechev from Kramatorsk-based Adrenalin. – We could certainly play better and gain more points, but it happened so. My teammates and I were very pleased to participate in the tournament. Who is my favourite Shakhtar player? Marlos, Taison and especially Andriy Pyatov!

Adrenalin and Proryv will meet in the third-place decider, as Kvadrat and Black Star will compete for the main prize. The decisive matches of the final stage will be held tomorrow, on May 14, at 12:00.
