A fan of the Pitmen has climbed the world’s highest peak
The Kharkivan Valentyn Sypavin, who is an experienced mountain guide, completed the ascent on May 16 to become the 19th Ukrainian to have conquered Mount Everest.
At an altitude of 8,848 metres, Valentyn unfolded a Shakhtar shirt bearing number 10 and congratulated the club on their landmark 10th league title.
