The Donetsk team players reflect on the match against Oleksandriia
Vasyl Kobin, Shakhtar defender:
- I think the draw is a natural outcome of the match. We dominated possession, but overall the game was even. Probably, the opponents knew the developments in the concurrent meeting in Odesa, and all dropped back. The hosts were satisfied with a draw. I think the coach did the right thing by fielding three debutants. The guys showed themselves well –they are shaping Shakhtar’s future, we should trust them. Today was my last match for Shakhtar. I decided for myself that it’s necessary to give way to the young, and for the team to move forward. I’m delighted that I’ve been part of this team for eight years now. We achieved a lot. I’ve always helped Shakhtar to the best of my ability. It's a great honour for me.

- The emotional experience and impression of the debut is just crazy. Jitters? I had it when we were going to the stadium, but it disappeared after we’d taken the field. The only trouble was my mistake spoiling everything. In that episode, Ordets fed me, I wanted to sweep it to Butko, but didn’t shoot it powerfully enough. The opponents intercepted the ball, fired a cross, but it bounced off ground to hit the back of the net. Of course, I immediately got upset, but I want to thank the guys since they cheered me up. That’s OK, I will work on, I'm not gonna go to pieces, I’ll just draw the right conclusions and try not to let this happen again. As for the game, the result is fair in my opinion.
