The past month was busy and productive for the Pitmen
The Donetsk team held six games in the Ukrainian League and Cup, winning five of them. The games include the Ukrainian ‘El Clasico’ success (1- 0), the wins against Zorya (2-1), Dnipro (1-0) and Oleksandriia (1-0), alongside the demolition job against Olimpik (4-0).
In six meetings, Shakhtar players scored a total of 10 goals against their opponents. The most prolific players of the month are the Brazilian Taison and the Argentine Facundo Ferreyra, netting three goals each. Two more goals were notched up by Bernard, with Gustavo Blanco Leschuk and Viktor Kovalenko scoring once.
