Shakhtar footballers Taras Stepanenko and Ivan Ordets share their impressions of the match against Olimpik
Taras Stepanenko, midfielder:
- The main thing is that we’ve won. We really needed a victory in view of the latest results. We were a little worried because of this. We’ve also scored an early goal today, conceded quickly, with the whole clash being all the nerves. I started to feel cool after the fourth goal. Although Olimpik realized almost all of their chances again. Offensively, we always create a lot, we have technically skilled players who can score. Both in the first and second half, we enjoyed more control over the proceedings. The opponents ran out of steam somewhere, because moving without the ball and trying to dispossess all the time is hard. As for us, we are in good shape, holding two meetings a week.
