Shakhtar turned up the full power

- Playing open football vs Shakhtar is just self-defeating. We were pretty well prepared for the match, knowing the strengths of the Miners and operating on the counter. In the first half, we gave away the territory and counted on quick attacks. We managed to charge forward, we scored a goal from set play, had a few more chances, but didn’t convert them. In the second half, everything changed radically. Shakhtar turned up the full power - we played at completely different speeds. It was noticeable that we were losing strength, with slackness appearing between the thirds, which the opponents took advantage of. We conceded one early, with the score getting a lopsided look after a few more attacks. Unfortunately, some players could not help us for certain reasons. Someone else decided to get sick on the matchday’s eve - we will sort that out. I'm already used to difficulties, and we will overcome them with dignity. We started unsuccessfully, but I know the reasons behind it. In football, there are no minor things. I’m responsible for each player. I would like to stress once again that we will handle this situation with dignity.
