Shakhtar players shared their opinions about the game vs Besiktas and summed up the training camp

- By names in their squad and their performance, Besiktas have been our most serious opponents at the training camp. We have similar tactics: both teams are compact defensively, they practically did not allow each other to create any dangerous chances. The Turks tried to operate more on the counter, while we tried to take advantage of the upfield advances of their defensive third. It’s true that there were just a few scoring opportunities, but still there were some. I consider the game to be absolutely useful training camp wise. Talking about our physical availability, in training everyone gave their one hundred percent – I haven’t heard any complaints from anyone. Now we’re thinking about the Super Cup game. We’ve still got nine days ahead to prepare for the major rivalry. This is one game deciding the future of the trophy, so we must win it.

I must admit that Besiktas are strong opponents with an excellent roster. For us it was a very good test game. We played some great games at the training camp.
