In reality, Shakhtar are even stronger

- Emotions from the debut are mostly negative because defeat is defeat. We played against a very good team. It turns out that in reality, Shakhtar are even stronger than on TV. When preparing, we watched a lot of the opponents’ games: we managed to neutralise some things, but some other things just didn’t work. The impressions are ambiguous. It's good that we started, played the historic first game for Chernihiv, but still there’s a fly in the ointment.
 
- Is the fact that you started against the champs a plus or a minus?
- A minus, because we haven’t scored any points.
 
- How hard was it for Desna psychologically?
- I think, there was no fear. The guys came out and played, something worked, but something else didn’t. And we need to highlight the gentlemanly nature of the match as a whole.
 
- In the first half, you showed more open football, after the break you played more on the counter. What do you make of it?
- It seems to me that we started the second half well enough, created some threatening situations, but in general, Shakhtar directed the game and controlled the course of events. Although, perhaps, we created more dangerous scoring chances.
 
- Did you watch the goal replay?
- Nope. I heard that it was a good goal, but I didn’t see it myself, so I just can’t tell you that.
