Facundo Ferreyra has become Shakhtar’s top scorer in the 2017/18 season. He boasts 30 goals scored in all competitions: 21 in the Premier League, 4 in the Ukrainian Cup, 2 in the Ukrainian Super Cup, and 3 in the Champions League
The Argentinean excelled on 21 occasions in the domestic league games and thus won the scorers race. Shakhtar’s number 19 boasts 6 UPL braces with the average scoring performance of a 0.7 goal. Ferreyra notched up the most goals vs Vorskla and Zirka: 5 and 4 goals respectively.

It was important to score in the Super Cup, in the Ukrainian Cup final, and in the Champions League. Those goals really matter to me. The personal statistic is a good thing! However, I feel greater satisfaction with the success of the club as a whole.

The record for the maximum number of goals netted in one season in all competitions belongs to Andrii Vorobei - 34 (2000/01). He is followed by Facundo Ferreyra (30), with the third best figure belonging to Vitaliy Starukhin (27)

On the club’s top-flight scorers list, Facundo shares the third spot with Oleh Matveyev (1996/97) and Andrii Vorobei (2000/01), having 21 goals each. In the 2015/16 season, Alex Teixeira produced 22 precision shots in just 15 apps. Henrikh Mkhitaryan still remains to be the record holder with 25 goals notched up in the 2012/13 season.
