The team’s final preparations before the UEFA Champions League game vs Manchester City
In the run-up to the UEFA Champions League matchday 3 game Shakhtar vs Manchester City, the Miners conducted an open training session in line with the regulations on the pitch of the Sviatoshyno suburban complex.
Cool, but warm autumn weather contributed to the team’s good mood. After a theory session, the Orange-and-Blacks trained on the pitch for just over an hour. The session included a warm-up, a few tactical exercises and some set play practice.
The players and the coaching staff are preparing for the upcoming encounter, which is important for the team in terms of their standing. Tonight, the club delegation will fly to Kharkiv, where the team manager Paulo Fonseca will give an official pre-match press conference at 18:30.
