Attention of scouts

Zaporizhia is the fifth city to have hosted the Talent Day. Earlier, the same events took place in Kharkiv, Lviv, Mariupol and Chernivtsi. All of them were attended by the Shakhtar Academy scouts, who assessed the kids’ capability and selected them for further trials.

- We’ve attended the Talent Day with Sergei Kravchenko and were satisfied. Many participants, some of them showed themselves very well, - says the Shakhtar Academy scouting coach Vasilii Popov. - Last time, I was in Kharkiv, but that’s the city with a population of 1.5 million, with many sports schools. I felt the difference in training. Nevertheless, everything was fine: we noted the names of five or six guys. The most important thing is their technique, player thinking and pace. We have already talked to them and their parents, in the future we will invite them to trials.
