The Shakhtar midfielder will miss about six weeks after surgery
During the season, Marlos suffered pain in the groin area, and therefore surgery was required (he was diagnosed with pubalgia). On April 9, the Shakhtar midfielder was operated on in Barcelona.
- For eight months I have played feeling very strong pain, I could not train to the full of my ability. Unfortunately, I needed an operation, - said Marlos. - Only my relatives know how upset I am due to the fact that I could not help the team as much as I wanted to. But I promise to return even stronger! I want to achieve all our goals with Shakhtar. I hope to take the pitch soon and do what I love the most.
As soon as this Friday, Marlos will return to Kyiv. His recovery will take up to six weeks according to preliminary estimates.
