Sergei Palkin, FC Shakhtar CEO:

- The emotions are just overwhelming! Today is a very special day in the history of our club because, for the first time ever, the senior team will be able to travel on a branded aircraft. There are very few top European football clubs who have such an opportunity. Thanks to SkyUp we join the company of those lucky ones. I want to say that this is not just a plane, this is a demonstration of our joint ambitions - together with SkyUp we want to be the number one not only on the ground but also in the air. I am grateful to the management of SkyUp for this great aircraft. I am sure that this plane will become the hallmark of our club, the fans will be proud of it, they will be happy to fly on it.

Yurii Alba, SkyUp Airlines owner:

- Last July, SkyUp became the official carrier of FC Shakhtar, the club that is appreciated by a huge number of fans, and not only in our country. Today we are welcoming an exclusive aircraft that is painted in the club's signature colours. On this plane, the team will fly across Ukraine to participate in domestic competitions, as well as around the world for international games. This plane stands out not only due to its bright and uniquely colourful design but also due to the passion that every employee of the company puts in ensuring the comfort and safety of flights of their passengers.

The aircraft got Shakhtar’s signature livery at the renowned Dean Baldwin Painting company (Roswell, USA). It took them almost a month to paint the aircraft, with some 140 litres of paint being used in the course of work.
