On August 3, the Miners held an open training session at the OSK Metalist in Kharkiv
On the eve of the first home match in the 2019/20 season, Shakhtar introduced their latest Nike gear. The team went to the pitch through a ‘corridor of honour’ formed by the most loyal fans and season ticket holders. After a short presentation of the kit, the players sent a few footballs into the stands as gifts and started training, the session lasted 45 minutes.
- I am a fan of Shakhtar, my favourite player is Marlos, - Maksym told us. – This is my first experience of attending an open training session. I liked everything very much, particularly the shots on target.
At the end of the event, the Orange-and-Blacks had pictures taken with the fans and signed autographs.
- It was very interesting to follow the training at the stadium, - Vadym, a young Shakhtar fan, shared his impressions. I was impressed the most by a small-sided game. I’m happy to have the autographs of Marlos, Taison, and Ismaily!
This is a reminder that on Sunday of August 4, the Orange-and-Blacks will host Karpaty in the Premier League round two in Kharkiv. The match kicks off at 19:30. The tickets are on sale.
