Shakhtar defender David Khocholava answered the reporters’ questions on the eve of the game vs Eintracht
- David, who do you think is the most dangerous among the Eintracht attackers?
- There are no individual players to highlight. Eintracht are very strong offensively, all three strikers score many goals, and provide assists. So the attacking third is dangerous.
- Have your defensive actions and objectives changed after Rakits’kyy’s departure?
- For three or four days, we practised the tactic meant specifically for Eintracht. Of course, there have been some adjustments. We watched videos, the coaches explained how to operate against that kind of teams and individually against their players.
- You prepared for the match, watched the opponents, analysed their play. Whose attacking third is stronger – that of Eintracht or Hoffenheim?
- To be honest, I can answer this question only tomorrow, after the fight. I would say that Eintracht, like Hoffenheim, are aggressive and strong. Figure wise, perhaps, Eintracht are better, but on the field, it all can be very different. Tomorrow's game will reveal it.
- In one of his interviews, Butko said that Shakhtar’s objective is reaching the final. Are you able to fulfil it?
- I think that we can reach the final, but that’s a very distant goal. At the moment, we need to think about tomorrow's meeting and make it to the next stage, and then we will see what happens next.
