Darijo Srna returns to Shakhtar

The former Shakhtar captain Darijo Srna completed his spell at Cagliari, Italy to return to Shakhtar in order to join the coaching staff of Luis Castro
Darijo played for Shakhtar from 2003 to 2018 and set the club's all-time record for the number of appearances. Over the 15 years at Shakhtar, Srna made 536 apps and scored 49 goals, winning 26 trophies with the team: one UEFA Cup, 10 league titles, seven Ukrainian Cups and eight domestic Super Cups.
