Shakhtar players started the pre-season preparation stage

The Miners, just like a year ago, have stayed at the hotel complex Golf Resort Achental with two full-size training fields. Despite the hot weather (the air temperature was above 30°C), the alpine pitch surprised them with its great condition.
Beginning of work
In the evening, the team held their first training session in Grassau. The session lasted ninety minutes and included a warm-up, intense squares, set play practice and a small-sided game across one half of the pitch. For some players, it was the first session managed by Luis Castro, while the rest continued the work they had started in Kyiv.

Tomorrow, the Miners will have two sessions; and on Wednesday, Shakhtar will conduct their first test game vs the champions of Bulgaria Ludogorets.
