The Shakhtar Academy teams U14, U15, U16, and U17 won the DUFL finals

The players born in 2002 are the fourth to have won gold medals in the league.

On the way to the final, the subordinates of Oleksandr Sytnyk and Oleksandr Maksymov won 21 games, along with two draws and one defeat, with the number of goals scored exceeding one hundred (102). The team's top scorer is Abdula Abdullaev (23 goals).
  
Golden defeat
 
In the final, Shakhtar once again proved their superiority over competitors by claiming a major 4-0 win. The Miners attacked in various ways, but the Kyiv outfit managed to keep the draw for more than half an hour. In the 37th minute, Eduard Kobak earned a penalty and converted it himself, marking the beginning of the demolition job, with Mykyta Kulalayev finishing off a corner by Sudakov to make it 2-0 late in the first half.
 
After the break, Zmina-Obolon attacked to equalise but in the 55th minute they faced a clinical counterattack by the Orange-and-Blacks. As a result, Denys Svityukha was brought down in the penalty area and coolly beat the goalkeeper from the spot. In the stoppage time, the substitute Artem Umanets sealed the win with a powerful shot into the roof of the net, making it 4-0.
 
Shakhtar U17 are the fourth Academy team to have become the champions of the 2018/19 Junior Football League. The Player of the Final Tournament is Heorhii Sudakov, the Best Goalkeeper is Mylyta Turbaevskyi, the Best Midfielder is Vladyslav Kobylianskyi.
