Before the match

The Miners’ spring calendar cannot be called easy, because in each round, they are to face the teams desperately fighting for points atop the table. As a result, they had two draws in a row vs Oleksandriia (0-0) and Chornomorets (1-1), who somewhat alienated the Orange-and-Blacks from their competitors in the title race. Now, Valeriy Kryventsov’s lads remain in the third position in the table with 36 points (the goal difference of 34-21). In the previous game in Odesa, Shakhtar U21 team did without four internationals who are back at the club now, being ready to take to the field tomorrow. The most prolific player is Andrii Kulakov (9 goals).

After the winter break, Oleksandr Chyzhevskyi’s men also drew in both of their meetings: 0-0 with Vorskla away and 1-1 with Lviv at home. The top scorer is Rostyslav Lyakh (8 goals).
