Shakhtar will play Inhulets in the Ukrainian Cup final
Last preparations
On the morning of May 13, the Miners held a training session at the Sviatoshyn suburban complex. Paulo Fonseca dedicated almost the entire session to tactical practice. In the end, they held a small-sided game across one-third of the pitch.
Marlos is back
The midfield leader Marlos is recovering after surgery. Today, Shakhtar’s number 11 has worked in the general group most of the time.
On May 14, Shakhtar will have a pre-match training session to be followed by a flight to Zaporizhia the same evening.
- Inhulets are the team that have reached the final, so we shouldn’t underestimate them, - says the Shakhtar defender Sergii Kryvtsov. - We are preparing for a combative match, gearing up very seriously. The rivals are strong primarily in terms of their teamwork, the guys, just like us, will fight for one another. I know that there will be a full house in Zaporizhia, with all the tickets being sold out. We are looking forward to some strong support in the stands!
This is a reminder that the Shakhtar vs Inhulets match will be held at the Slavutych-Arena on May 15. It kicks off at 21:00.
