After the match vs Dynamo, the OSK Metalist hosted the Shakhtar award ceremony
Personnel, medical staff, management, and the club employees in T-shirts with the number 34, which symbolizes the number of club trophies won during Ukraine’s independence, formed the champions corridor for the team. After that, Shakhtar players and coaches came out one by one to receive the well-deserved gold medals.
The Orange-and-Blacks were awarded by the Premier League president Thomas Grimm and the FFU vice-president Oleh Protasov. The Shakhtar captain Taison came out last to pick up the 2018/19 Ukrainian League trophy.
After the main part of the ceremony, the Miners did a lap of honour, had a short photo shoot, celebrated the joyful moment with the fans, and Taison ran with the huge orange-black flag along the stands.
