The midfielder made 250 apps for Shakhtar in competitive games.

Taison joined the club in January 2013, and on February 13, at the age of 25, he made his debut for Shakhtar in the Champions League round of 16 game vs Borussia Dortmund at the Donbass Arena.
Together with Shakhtar, he won 14 titles: 5 league titles, 5 Cups, and 4 Super Cups. Since the autumn of 2017, Taison has played as a captain.
On the list of appearance makers and top scorers
Currently, Taison has 151 apps with Shakhtar in the Ukrainian Championship, 28 Cup apps, 6 Super Cup apps, 43 Champions League apps, and 22 Europa League ones. In 250 games, he scored a total of 48 goals, being among the club’s 25 top scorers.
We want to add that Taison became the 37th footballer in the history of Shakhtar to have made over 250 competitive apps, being the fourth Brazilian on this list after Fernandinho, Jadson, and Luis Adriano.
