Shakhtar footballers have been called up to their national teams

Ukraine national team

On September 7, the country’s select team featuring 9 Shakhtar players (Andriy Pyatov, Sergii Kryvtsov, Mykola Matviienko, Serhii Bolbat, Taras Stepanenko, Yevhen Konoplyanka, Marlos, Junior Moraes, and Viktor Kovalenko) will play another UEFA Euro 2020 qualifier. In Vilnius, the Yellow-and-Blues will meet with Lithuania. The game kicks off at 19:00 Kyiv time. The live broadcast will be available on the channels of Ukrayina and Futbol 1. On September 10, Andriy Shevchenko’s men will have a friendly match vs Nigeria national team. The meeting will take place at the Dnipro-Arena in Dnipro at 21:30.

Ukraine U21

The Ukraine U21 team featuring Mykhailo Mudryk, Danylo Sikan, and Valerii Bondar, will hold two U21 Euro 2021 qualifiers. On September 6, Ruslan Rotan’s men will face Finland U21, and on September 10 they will play Malta U21. Both games will take place in Zaporizhia.
