Midfielder Wellington Nem is leaving the club

The Brazilian has been a Shakhtar player for 7 years.

He netted one in his first app

A former Brazil player Wellington Nem moved to Shakhtar from Fluminense in the summer of 2013. On July 21 of the same year, he made his debut for Shakhtar in an away match vs Sevastopol, bagging one in the 89th minute. In 2017, he played on loan for Sao Paulo, and in 2019 he defended the colours of Fluminense.

His Shakhtar spell

In total, Nem made 75 apps with Shakhtar: 47 in the Ukrainian league, 15 in the Cup, one in the Super Cup and 12 in European competitions. Aggregately, he scored 12 goals (9 in the UPL, 3 in the domestic Cup). He put his name on the scoresheet 2 times in each of the games vs Olimpik, Mariupol and Vorskla, also netting one vs Sevastopol, Dynamo Kyiv, Poltava, Metalurh Zaporizhia, Oleksandriia and Lviv.

FC Shakhtar would like to thank Wellington for the years spent with the team, for his professionalism, memorable games and goals scored. Good luck!
